In Year 2023, Warisan TC Holdings Berhad in collaboration with Insitute Alam Sekitar Malaysia (EiMAS) initiated a Course for Certified Operator in Scheduled Waste Management for Workshop (COSWaM) Training sessions nationwide, which includes Penang on 30 – 31 May, Kuala Lumpur on 20 – 21 June, Sabah on 28 – 29 August, and Johor on 17 – 18 October. The purpose of these courses was to equip employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to manage scheduled waste responsibly and in compliance with regulatory requirements while ensuring that waste management practices meet industry standards, thereby mitigating environmental risks. The COSWaM Training brought benefits to the WTCH Group by enhancing the competency of its workforce in handling hazardous waste, promoting environmental sustainability practices, and reducing potential legal liabilities.
